Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to oversee operations in a hospitality setting, focusing on customer service, bar management, and event planning. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality management and possess strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for running a friendly, efficient, and profitable taproom, including but not limited to the following duties:

- Scheduling and executing a minimum of four unique events in the taproom a month.

- Planning and executing additional events in the taproom such as fundraisers, group reservations, special events, etc.

- Creating promotional materials for taproom events (using Canva) and making sure bulletin boards are up to date with current & upcoming fliers.

- Training and ongoing coaching of new serving staff on taproom operations, opening & closing duties, POS system, pouring techniques, customer service, etc.

- Keeping track of taproom supply inventory and notifying when items are low (stickers, coasters, cleaning supplies, etc.).

- Working in conjunction with staff to ensure daily beer & snack inventory is accurate in the POS.

- Updating and printing weekly beer menus on Fridays, and being able to communicate the qualities of our beers on tap to customers.

- Maintaining inventory, organization, and storage of all SWAG items. Including in merch cabinet and merch bin.

- Responsible for the Taproom social media (Facebook & Instagram).

- Responsible for updating staff on upcoming events and any specifics that need to be known for those events.

- Placing taproom snack and non-alcoholic beverage orders.

- Organizing and leading the monthly deep clean, which includes designating cleaning assignments to those not attending and following up to make sure items are accomplished in a timely manner.

Skills:

- Proven experience in customer service within a hospitality or food service environment.
- Strong background in bar or brewery operations.
- Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers, staff, and vendors.

- Event planning experience a huge plus!
