Staff Accountant for Family Office
The candidate must live and work in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area since this is full-time onsite role.
Job purpose
The Staff Accountant, Family Office will support the Family Office, serving a multi‐generational, high net worth family. The Family office directs the accounting, legal, tax, estate planning and risk management needs of the family.
To be successful in the role, the individual must have excellent written and verbally communication skills with high attention to detail. All responsibilities must be performed with the highest level of confidentiality.
Technical Responsibilities
Manage and maintain partnership accounting, portfolio performance and investment data aggregation software.
Process transactions and perform account reconciliations and analysis for individuals, trusts and investment partnerships.
Establish and enforce policies and procedures, and ensure all financial matters are conducted in compliance with the standards.
Foster strong client relationships through clear and effective communication, addressing inquiries promptly.
Manage vendor relationships, requests and payments.
Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments are up to date, research and resolve issues or
discrepancies with accounts, bill pay or invoices.
Manage charitable contribution letters.
Responsible for special projects as needed.
This individual will be privy to classified and confidential information regarding budgets, compensation, acquisitions, and top executives. He/She needs to be able to maintain poise, confidentiality, and discretion when managing this type of information
Qualifications & Requirements
Ability to handle competing priorities and tight deadlines simultaneously while maintaining quality.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal required.
Strong organization and planning skills.
Ability to exercise good judgment, and anticipate needs, with strong attention to detail.
A forward‐thinking mindset, and insatiable curiously, to pursue opportunities and present
innovative solutions.
