Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced audio visual installation technician to

join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio visual

technology, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

 Install and configure audio visual systems in a variety of environments, including

boardrooms, classrooms, houses of worship, council chambers, and others

 Safely and securely mount projectors, projection screens, displays, video walls,

DVLED, speakers, microphones, cameras, and other AV equipment

 Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV systems

 Provide technical support and maintenance for AV systems

 Able to connect to, load, edit, and configure Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron, and other

AV manufacturers’ systems

 Terminate and label network, audio, video, and control cables

 Work collaboratively with internal staff and technicians to ensure successful

project delivery and client satisfaction

 Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.

 Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project and maintenance in our CRM

system

 Deliver, setup, operate, and remove temporary AV systems for events

 Drive 16’ box truck or cargo van

 Stay current on industry trends and product developments

Qualifications:

 Minimum of 3 years of experience in audio visual installations

 Knowledge of audio visual equipment, including video conferencing systems,

projectors, sound systems, and control systems

 Superior customer service skills

 Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

 Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools

 Familiarity with safety protocols and industry standards

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and

maintain relationships with clients and team members

 Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage

multiple priorities and deadlines

 Microsoft Office and Google Workspace proficiency

 Self-motivated and goal-oriented

Education:

 High school diploma or equivalent required

 Bachelor's degree preferred

Certifications:

 Avixa CTS certification preferred

Other Requirements:

 Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

 Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces

 Ability to work in a variety of environments, including construction sites, corporate

offices, houses of worship, and educational facilities

 Ability to travel, including occasional overnight stays

 Reliable vehicle for transportation

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
