Digital Marketing Strategist

Reporting To: Director of Marketing

Description

Relocation is not provided for this role. This is not a remote role. Candidates that are not within a reasonable commuting distance to Indianapolis need not apply.
The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing strategies to achieve specific revenue generation objectives. This role involves a combination of creative thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of campaign and digital marketing programs. The Digital Marketing Strategist works closely with cross-functional teams to drive online engagement and conversion.

1. Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals to drive results
2. Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels (social media, email, search engine, display advertising, etc.)
3. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal results
4. Coordinate and execute all aspects of lead generation programs and subsequent campaigns
5. Identify and nurture prospects and leads to support pipeline and lead goals for both account management and sales teams
6. Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation and personalization
7. Communicate digital marketing strategies and results effectively to stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and report on key program results and metrics 
  • Expand database with new contacts based on ZoomInfo and ALN uploads, and other sources
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis for search engine optimization (SEO) 
  • Monitor email deliverability and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics 
  • Develop customized campaigns (drip or multi-part) for national accounts 
  • Create monthly vertical drip campaigns or regional campaigns for all customers/prospects 
  • Support trade show activities, including lead management in Salesforce and pre/post show communications

50% | Campaign Management – execute marketing campaign strategy to generate more inbound leads through integrated marketing campaigns; track and measure results by campaign; identify best practices and adjust
35% | Lead Generation Planning – take lead role in developing concepts and strategy for trade shows and related lead generation initiatives; develop processes to ensure timely advancement of new leads through sales funnel
15% | Personal Development – develop in the areas of marketing strategy and automation; improve Renovia’s marketing capabilities and services 

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 2-5 years of marketing experience with applicable skills in lead generation and/or marketing campaign management
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with workgroup collaboration tools and process-based workflows preferred
  • Salesforce and Pardot certifications preferred
