About Us:

RenewaBit builds and operates data center facilities including cryptocurrency mining facilities. Our services range from advisory in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), to O&M (Operations, and Maintenance). We are seeking three part-time Operations Support Technicians to join our team to perform routine daily operations, in addition to other support tasks, at our mixed immersion/air-cooled mining facility in Denver City, Texas.

Position Overview:

As an Operations Support Technician (OpsTech), you will perform daily routine maintenance on-site which will require approximately 4 hours per day of work. We are seeking multiple part-time staff members to ensure staffing redundancy, and offer flexibility to our part-time employees, however, an ambitious or highly committed employee has the opportunity to request more days per week. This position provides flexibility in scheduling and allows for other work commitments. We estimate that you will receive about 20 hours of scheduled work per week with an additional hourly pay for responding to problems outside of scheduled hours. Depending on performance, this position may provide future opportunities for advancement and additional hours.

Responsibilities:

· Perform daily maintenance tasks as scheduled to maintain optimal facility operations

· Conduct routine preventative maintenance on mining servers, equipment, and cooling systems

· Assist with the installation and initialization of new servers in server racks

· Perform regular inspections to identify equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs in accordance with our operations manual

· Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment

· Coordinate with appropriate parties for facility and/or ASIC repair

· Receive an additional on-call premium for responding to situations, such as a breaker tripping, outside of normal scheduled hours

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 1 years of experience in equipment maintenance, operations support, or related field

· Strong technical aptitude and ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issue

· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

· Reliable personal transportation

· Basic understanding of cryptocurrency mining operations is a plus, but not required

· OSHA 10 certification is a plus, but not required

Onboarding :

There will be one full week of onboarding training. The position will be full-time during this week with an estimate of 32 hours. After, the position averages roughly 20h/week.
