WE LOVE OUR WORK.:
The Applications Analyst - Gaming Systems is responsible for gathering requirements, analysis, application design, programming, and documentation of gaming system applications and reports. This role is Remote.
  • Assists in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation of gaming system requirements.
  • Advises IT management team regarding jurisdictional differences for applications and reporting systems.
  • Makes recommendations to help understand the business and make data-driven decisions.
  • Analyzes trends and KPIs related to gaming systems performance to propose new business efficiencies and operational improvements.
  • Functions as the analytics intake representative and liaison for Gaming stakeholders (i.e. Slots, Tables, Poker, etc.)
  • Works with Director to identify and integrate new data as needed for gaming systems.
  • Performs regular system, quality audits. Makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Manipulates and analyzes large data sets for gaming systems. Provides findings and suggestions based upon findings.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related field from a four-year college or university; or 3-5 years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Gaming industry experience required.
  • Prior ACSC gaming system and IT knowledge required.
  • Must have strong technical, analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Must have strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, or other programming languages.
  • Ability to write routine reports and in depth technical operating manuals.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
