Position Summary:

The Director, Learning & Development will coordinate the implementation of innovative and high-impact learning experiences that allows our employees and business to grow. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and cultivate strong and collaborative relationships with Human Resources and Remington's Operations Team to support training programs to address business needs.

Core Responsibilities:

In collaboration with Operational Leaders and HR Business Partners you will support design, development, implementation and management of targeted training programs and other general projects related to the growth of our associates.

Work with key stakeholders to define and implement a cohesive approach to learning and talent systems, programs, and initiatives that leverage technology and learning systems that are effective and compatible with Remington's culture.

• Responsible for developing and managing all course content, processes, and resources for all leadership and hourly positions
• Develop the infrastructure for all learning and development programs by creating standardized methods and processes for delivery, evaluation, measurement and reporting.
• Manages the day-to-day operation of our Learning Management System.
• Manage all external partnerships with vendors.
• Develops metrics to enable evaluation strategies to measure learner outcomes, productivity and business impact of learning solutions.
• Leverage data insights to drive, modify and create future learnings.
• Serves as a consultant to business leaders by analyzing complex, at times operational and organizational problems using root-cause analysis techniques, and communicating recommended learning solutions to the team.
• Understands how department goals and learning strategy integrate with overall Company objectives and advises appropriately.
• Embodies the skills necessary to effectively identify, manage, initiate and influence change.
• Develop training aids and deliver training as needed to various audiences to support understanding of available tools, resources, and technology.

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Minimum of seven years of learning and development experience including, but not limited to: facilitation, development, project management, designing, implementation, etc;
• Experience in hospitality, service or related industries
• Proven track record of inspiring and enabling a learning culture across an organization.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and design and development processes required
• Must have excellent analytical skills in order to conduct full scale needs assessments with internal Customers.
• Must have a deep understanding of strategy, objectives and measurement planning; ability to push for measurable results.
• Understanding of traditional and modern training methods (e-learning, instructor led, etc.) required.
• Proven ability to influence, advise, and drive large initiatives to completion required.
• Project Management experience; Ability to manage all phases of a solution/project lifecycle, from initial solution design and planning, to execution and measurement.
• Ability to network and build a range of stakeholder relationships and collaborative partnerships.
• Knowledge of current adult learning methodologies , assessments, and survey platforms.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with the ability to successfully multitask and meet deadlines.
• High levels of emotional intelligence; Ability to match personal work style and approach to build trust and credibility.
