Reliable Recruiting is Hiring a Director of Operations (Manufacturing) Near Ingram, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing Teams: Manage and lead production, distribution, and procurement teams to ensure seamless operations and efficient processes.
  • Operational Strategy: Define, implement, and revise operational policies and guidelines that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Growth Initiatives: Develop and execute new growth directives, including leading process improvement initiatives, managing construction projects, and sourcing and implementing new technologies.
  • Talent Management: Create job descriptions, hire competent personnel, and oversee employee training and internship programs to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Performance Evaluation: Develop and implement staff evaluation parameters to continuously improve team performance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with departmental heads to ensure company-wide operational compliance and foster collaboration.
  • Costing: Provide costing for custom products to support pricing strategies and profitability.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently manage procurement and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.

Experience, Education, and Required Skills:

  • 5 Years of Management Experience: Demonstrated progressive management experience within Manufacturing, Distribution, Supply Chain, or similar sectors. (Experience in the jewelry industry is a plus)
  • Personnel Management: Proven experience in managing both direct and indirect staff, including conducting performance reviews, individual development plans, performance improvement plans, and performance management plans.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
