Your mission:

Reporting to the Application Engineering Manager, you will be instrumental in the development and deployment of software solutions that enhance the efficiency and delivery of building automation assets. This role will be focused on creating innovative technologies and using industry techniques to improve efficacy and efficiency in the application of our products.

 In collaboration with a dedicated team of engineers, building automation specialists, and software product managers, you will contribute to the creation of innovative solutions aimed at predicting, analyzing, and optimizing building operations.

In this role you will:

• Design and develop software solutions to improve engineering efficiencies in building automation systems, including HVAC, lighting, security, and energy management.
• Develop language models to enhance user interaction with building automation systems
• Collaborate with product development teams to integrate applications into new and existing products.
• Design and develop API based solutions for integration of various platforms
• Implement machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and predict future building needs.
• Uphold current cybersecurity standards and practices to ensure security and handling of data.

This role might be right for you if you have:

• Experience with API integrations and toolsets
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity practices
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C#
• Knowledge of ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
• Experience with LLMs.
• Experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Knowledge of building automation systems and IoT technologies is highly desirable

• A valid passport and can travel to Canada.
