RELI Group Inc. is Hiring a Deputy Program Manager Near Springfield, VA

The TSA National Explosives Detection Canine Program trains and deploys both TSA-led and state and local law enforcement-led canine teams in support of day-to-day activities that protect the transportation domain. These highly trained explosives detection canine teams are a reliable resource at detecting explosives and provide a visible deterrent to terrorism directed towards transportation systems.

TSA trains canine teams to operate in the aviation, multimodal, maritime, mass transit, and cargo environments. Considered the "center for excellence" for explosives detection canine training, the program is the largest explosives detection canine program in the Department of Homeland Security and the second largest in the federal government after the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily strategic planning and execution of contract staff to deliver contract requirements, data analysis, logistics management, explosive production services, and operational deployments.
  • Develop enhanced data visualizations to display key performance indicators and frequently utilized metrics to provide to program stakeholders and TSA leadership.
  • Provide data automation and programmatic process improvements.
  • Provide complex logistical and fiscal support for multiple National Special Security Events (NSSE) with Special Event Assessment Rating (SEAR) designation to include: NFL Super Bowl, Bowl Championship Series Championship Game, NCAA Final Four, and MLB All-Star Game.
  • Manage the development of the DAO Canine Matrix initiative as requested by the Director of Aviation Coordination.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for updating all canine related support personnel across multiple offices.
  • Lead the development of an interactive dashboard to provide snapshots of allocated personnel at over 160 locations across the nation.
  • Engage with program leadership to conduct requirements analysis and supporting documentation for procurement.
  • Represent the TSA Canine Program as a key stakeholder and subject matter expert (SME) on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Provide full acquisition lifecycle support to include statements of work, cost analysis, and performance evaluation.
  • Developed thorough, auditable processes, for data structuring and analysis used by program leadership to make strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience working as a Project Manager/Project Director
  • Experience using project management toolsets such as Microsoft Project, Atlassian Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working in Government Contracting is preferred
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • PMP is preferred
  • Must be willing to come on-site once a week (Tuesdays) to the TSA HQ in Springfield, VA

The annual salary range for this position is $77,727 to $116,300. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
