Retail Store Assistant Manager is responsible for the supporting the Retail Store Manager in proper and efficient operation of the store.
Responsibilities : In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties requested by management.
Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.
General Management
- Supporting and generating customer sales
- Supporting store profitability
- Performing specific tasks assigned by manager
- Giving all customers prompt and courteous service
- Operating the register and related business machines
- Accurate and on-time handling of cash and reporting in the absence of the manager
- Checking in vendors and gas deliveries
- Keeping store stocked based on customer needs
- Covering shifts in partnership with the supervisor
- Supporting store manager
- Personnel : Advising store supervisor of any personnel situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operating performance
