Reingold Inc is Hiring an AEM Developer Near Raleigh, NC

Reingold is hiring an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) developer to join a growing team of Adobe Experience Cloud experts. We need someone who’s a hands-on project coordinator, a self-motivated team player, a techspeak translator, and a brainiac with a love for efficiency.
Reingold is an award-winning marketing firm with a 39-year track record of developing and launching compelling, inventive campaigns that drive impact.
This role may be fully remote or involve a flexible hybrid work model that accommodates virtual and in-office collaboration. If you are local to our headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia, you will be required to come in to the office twice a week. If you’re local to our Raleigh, North Carolina, office, you’ll be required to come in one day a week.
Coffee. Code. Scrum. Repeat. … This rhythm can be soothing to some web developers. But at Reingold, each day and each project are different — just how we like it. What doesn’t change is our passion for good causes; our work-hard, play-hard mentality; and our love of free snacks.
Are you a proven team player who also enjoys the occasional mini-bundt cake? If so, read on.
Here’s the Role:
As an AEM developer, you’ll work with just about everyone on our contract team: web designers, digital strategists, and user experience and information architecture experts — plus the client.
Here are the day-to-day responsibilities:
  • Architect, develop, and test features in AEM.
  • Actively participate in an interdepartmental and collaborative Agile team.
  • Help the team create and maintain development tasks for the current Agile sprint.
  • Work with customers and partners on technical project details.
  • Support junior developers on their project tasks.
  • Ensure that the application security and privacy policies of Reingold and its customers are followed.
This role is a good fit for someone with the following qualifications and skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4 years of experience developing in AEM 6.5 and/or AEM as a Cloud Service using HTML Template Language (HTL) and Apache Sling Java Models
  • Extensive background in enterprise Java and OSGi development
  • Experience with Git and code review processes
  • Working knowledge of Apache Sling, Apache Felix, the Java Content Repository (JCR), and other AEM technologies
  • Excellent communications skills (and we mean excellent)
  • Willingness to share thoughts, ask questions, and participate in meetings
  • Ability to work in a services industry, often on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexibility to work in multiple roles depending on the project
  • Intellect, initiative, and reliability
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
  • Front-end development experience using JavaScript and HTML
No pressure, but it’d also be cool if you knew:
  • Continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines
  • Agile approaches, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Linux and Apache web servers
  • Cloud hosting systems, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
At Reingold, no one works in a box. We nurture and leverage individual talents and encourage our web developers and designers to continually grow. We offer creative freedom, a collaborative (and fun) environment, and an infinite variety of challenging assignments.
Reingold offers competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, a hybrid and collaborative work environment, a fun (and sometimes zany) workplace culture, and growth opportunities in a variety of specialty areas. That means when we find good people (and they find us), they stick around for the long term.
Reingold is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment and to providing equal opportunity for individuals of all abilities. If you require assistance or need accommodations at any stage of the application process because of a disability or medical condition, please feel free to email careers@reingold.com or contact a member of the HR team at 202-333-0400.
Reingold has a policy of maintaining a workplace free of drugs and alcohol. For access to the full policy, which is part of the Reingold Employee Handbook, email careers@reingold.com. Reingold is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer. Women, minorities, veterans, and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
