Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and leadership.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems
- Fabricate or weld parts as needed
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and document maintenance activities
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Operate logic controllers and other specialized equipment
- Supervise contractors when necessary
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English (both written and verbal communication)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Experience with welding and fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with CMMS software is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise others
