Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive measures
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in (Maryland)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities or ophthalmology patients

- Developmental Disability Certification
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and equipment, including Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and neonatal ventilators
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments such as the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
