Qualifications for this position include:
Job Responsibilities:
•Performs one of a number of tasks relating to the preparation and service of food; the delivery and collection of food and supplies, the appropriate operation of machinery and the sanitation of specific areas of the department
•Check for deliveries regularly
•Complete Inventories for all supplies as needed and provide organized list to FSD or Supervisor.
oReceive, check, and signs for deliveries.
oPut away all deliveries in a timely manner & in the following order- *FROZEN, *REFRIDGERATED, *DRY *
oUse FIFO “first in first out”
oEnsure that all received items are dated & stock is rotated when being put away.
oSupply items needed to designated locations and notify correct person when supplies are low.
•Handles food in accordance with sanitary regulations
•Refrigerates and labels perishable food
•Operates machines used in the preparation of food or sanitation of equipment and work area
•Uses machines/equipment in a safe and efficient manner and according to policies and procedures
•Maintains cleanliness of the work area
•Mops floors, cleans equipment, utensils, work and service areas, using detergents and germicides as required
•Washes dishes and pots
•Performs environmental service duties (i.e garbage removal)
•Performs related duties, as required
