This position is responsible for the reconciliation of represented employee time clock information, tracking and reporting on scheduled and unscheduled absences, and performing evaluations and trend analysis on attendance information.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

ESSENTIAL :

  • Supports division by auditing represented time clock data and coding, ensuring it is correct, complete and properly reconciled.
  • Inputs and maintains all absence data into the system of record for attendance tracking and ensures attendance data is maintained in employee files.
  • Critically evaluates attendance information and partners with data owners and leaders to produce reports, dashboards, spreadsheets and other types of information.
  • Identifies challenges and risks through trend analysis and recommends new ways to measure attendance information.
  • Tracks represented scheduled and unscheduled work loss and prepares attendance documentation for division managers / supervisors to disseminate appropriately.
  • Coordinates time off calendars with division managers and participates in annual employee vacation votes.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of all records, reports, and documents and reports to managers any / all requests for information, documents, records or reports.
  • Supports division by performing as liaison between the payroll department and division employees for pay and time off related issues.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • A minimum of one year of experience analyzing and evaluating business processes and developing reports.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to identify relevant information in data sets and develop recommendations that support decision making.
  • Proficiency in developing reports, spreadsheets, and other data for presentation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Ability to use sound judgment.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.

The work environment is a typical office environment with some exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues when working in the records storage facility.
