JOB OVERVIEW

RTS Wayne seeks to fill a Bus Washer position. Position exists to performexterior and interior transit bus cleaning / washing, bus fueling and busparking / placing.

WORK HOURS : Monday - Friday, 3 : 00PM - 8 : 00PM

RATE : $18.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Work is physically demanding using power and hand tools. The work is performedin an outside environment regardless of weather.

• the ability to hear oncoming vehicles, horns and other verbalsignals in and between buses without a line of sight, ability to perform work ata high rate of speed, ability to work in a dark and dimly lit work environment;
• ability to work in a confined space; ability to follow directions; ability towork in wet and slippery conditions; the ability to stand for long periods oftime on hard and uneven surfaces;
• the ability to move from a standing positionto stooping multiple times, ability to bend, squat, crouch, stretch, lift armsand hands over head;

the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to kneel onwet, flat, hard surfaces; ability to walk and move quickly through buses forseveral hundred feet.

Employee must be dependable, arrive to work on time;honest and be able to work as a team.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid NY State Driver's License with clean driving recordMust obtain a Class "B" permit with passenger endorsement prior to startdate
