Regional One Health is Hiring a Nurse Manager, Extended Care Hospital (LTAC) Near Memphis, TN

Regional One Health Extended Care Hospital (LTAC) is currently seeking a Nurse Manager.

Summary:

The Manager, Nursinghas 24/7 accountability for Regional One Health Extended Care Hospital (ECH) with responsibility to manage the day-to-day clinical operations in a fiscally responsive manner, ensuring that resources, including equipment and supplies are available for the staff to care for patients. Scope of responsibility includes, but is not limited to, patient safety and satisfaction, staff competency and education, performance improvement, budgeting, personnel management, and physician relations. This nurse leader role works collaboratively and proactively with staff, physicians, other leaders. Serves as a professional leader and a management representative of ECH. journey. Assists the CNO on specific projects and other duties as assigned, including organizational strategies, system priorities and overall health care trends. Provides support and direct patient care as needed alongside of the rest of the nursing leadership team.

Education Requirement:

BSN from an approved school/program. May consider ASN candidate with equivalent work (6 years) experience.

Experience Requirement:

At least three (3) years of full-time equivalent experience in the assigned clinical area. Supervisory / Leadership experience required..

Licensure/Certification Requirement:

Current licensesure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee required. BLS issued by the American Heart Association required.

  • Oversees staff educatation and training. Manages the Healthstream system.

  • Oversees QAPI and enters NHSN data.

Supervision Provided by this Job:

  • Responsible for the management of assigned staff within the unit-RNs, LPN, and CNAs.

Physical Demands/Conditions:

  • Prolonged standing and walking, utilization of patient care equipment and other physical demands required in a patient care environment; exposure to infectious agents. Visual acuity is needed to assess color changes, to verify accuracy of written materials, and to administer and accurately prepare medications. Heavy Work - Exerting up to 150 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects. (May be further defined as "with or without assistance.")
