We are seeking a friendly and well-organized Host to welcome our guests, manage the seating floor, and thoroughly complete additional duties as assigned by MOD.

Host responsibilities:

• You will give a warm welcome to every guest and seat parties ready to go to their table
• Operate OpenTable Guest Center, manage the waitlist, & confirm reservations.
• Communicate concerns to the Manager on Duty as appropriate.
• Quick to answer the telephone within three rings and direct calls accordingly.
• Assist the FOH staff by helping fellow associates and managing the flow of the seating chart.

Job requirements:

• 2 years of hosting experience at a full-service, upscale restaurant required
• Friendly, caring, and have a proactive attitude that's ready to work and greet people with a smile
• Experience with Open Table Reservation system a plus
• Must have professional appearance and attitude
• Strong dedication to learning and providing true hospitality
• Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities while in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours while maintaining a fun and positive attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
