The Marketing Writer will serve as a content creator and communicator toachieve brand awareness, lead generation and enrollment objectives through print and digital media. Therole also involves integrating results from testing and analyticsto create results-driven approaches to communications. Essential duties will include:

• Write compelling targeted copy for a wide range of projects including web, print, and video.
• Interact with students and prospective students via social media platforms.
• Execute a social media strategy across Regent University Marketing social media accounts to increase followership and engagement.
• Manage projects for collateral materials to support marketing strategies.
• Interview students, alumni, donors, and guests to produce feature stories for print and web
• Proofread general marketing writing.
• Assist in marketing campaigners that drive actionable leads

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or in a related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and related experience
• Familiarity with inbound marketing tactics and lead generation preferred
• Proficient writing skills
• Exceptional editorial skills with the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of the delivery platform
• Experience with digital marketing platforms
• Direct experience writing for higher education preferred
