Regent Aerospace is Hiring a Receiving Inspector Near Valencia, CA

Summary

Receiving Inspector are responsible for receiving shipments, sorting items within the shipment , verify counts. Documents receiving information. Completes reports for management.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Signs for deliveries.
Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
Routes items to departments.
Examines incoming shipments to ensure shipments meet qualifications.
Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
May need to operate tier lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
Verify receipts and log them according to required procedures
Use RID scanner.
Label items with required stickers.
Enter data into operating system.
Ensure that all documents and material received in the warehouse are of satisfactory quality.

As Necessary, performs other related duties of which the above representative.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND TRAINING

High school diploma or equivalent.

MINIMUM DIRECTLY RELATED JOB EXPERIENCE

Two years experience in a manufacturing environment.
