Job Description: We are looking for a competent personal care assistant (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) who is polite with good communication skills to assist clients with day-to-day activities to maintain client’s independence, health, and well-being. The fulfillment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job. Responsibilities May Include:

  • Assist clients to live as independently as possible in their own home.
  • Medication reminders.
  • Assist with the necessary services to maintain client’s health, safety, and long-term well-being such as: ambulation, range of motion, dressing, bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, meal preparation, feeding, shopping, and errands.
  • Acting quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
  • Document and record activities that occurred on shift.

Job Type: Part-time or Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday flexible schedule (5-40 hours per week), day and evening

Location: In-Person (at the client’s home; multiple locations)

Requirements: Must have a valid drivers license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Valid documentation to work in the U.S.
  • Must complete Minnesota DHS PCA/CFSS training and certification exam.
  • Confidence to work independently with little supervision.
  • Must be dependable and reliable.
  • Enjoys flexibility.
  • Must enjoy working and caring for people.

Pay: $15.00-$16.25/hour
