Regency staff positions are designed for knowledgeable and energetic individuals who share a passion for design and construction. Staff members are expected to meet Ownership and Management objectives to enhance every aspect of the customer’s experience from start to finish and achieve the highest quality of product and service in each and every project. Regency Designers create conceptual and schematic design packages and assist with working drawings for materials preparation and require experience in Urban Design, Master Planning, Architecture, Interiors and Landscape Architecture. The ideal applicant needs to be a strong conceptual designer with capabilities in 3D modeling and architectural visualization.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet our clients' needs and preferences. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to bring design concepts to life.

Position: - Full-Time

Compensation: Competitive Salary based upon experience.

Experience: Minimum 5 Years of Related Experience, Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Interior Design Process, including FF&E, Furniture Systems, Specs, Colors and Materials
  • Experience in Space Planning, Design Concept Development, Predesign and Construction Administration
  • Understand the Preparation of Designs and Drawings using Project Specs, Instructions and Standard Practices
  • Assist with Designs, Quantity Calculations, Sketches, Diagrams and Schematic/Working Drawings
  • Ability to Communicate Design Concepts and Intent through Various Media
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment, Multi-Task and Meet Strict Deadlines
  • Determine & Acquire Necessary Project Resources within Budgetary Limitations
  • Coordinate, Lead and Encourage Project Teams to Achieve Optimum Results
  • Evaluate Job-Site Progress, Prepare Detailed Reports, and Update Project Schedules
  • Effective Communication & Collaboration with Customers, Co-Employees and Management
  • Strong Written & Verbal English Communication Skills and Interpersonal & Negotiating Skills
  • Basic Understanding of Trades & Scopes, the Permit & Inspection Process and Health & Safety Standards
  • Proficient in MS Office & Design-Related Software (BIM-Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Photoshop)
  • Organized, Dependable, Reliable, Self-Motivated, and Energetic
  • Meet with clients to determine their goals, preferences, and budget for the project
  • Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval
  • Create detailed drawings, renderings, and 3D models using software such as Sketchup, CAD, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, and Revit
  • Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting fixtures, and other elements for each project
  • Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure designs are implemented accurately
  • Oversee the installation of design elements and make any necessary adjustments
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in interior design and incorporate them into your work
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Skills:

  • Proficiency in design software such as Sketchup, CAD, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors
  • Ability to create detailed drawings and renderings
  • Knowledge of budgeting and cost estimation for interior design projects
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility to Travel if needed
  • Available Days, Evenings, and Weekends, if necessary
