Lindye Galloway Studio is Hiring an Interior Designer Near Costa Mesa, CA

INTERIOR DESIGNER

The Interior Designer develops every stage of design for our high-end homes and manages the process from finishes to furniture, bringing everything to life! They design, manage, and execute 5-8 projects at a time in collaboration with the Creative Director, Lindye Galloway. Creatively, they are bringing exciting, forward-thinking, and elevated design concepts and pairing that with the client’s style and the LG Studio’s aesthetic. They work closely with their Sr Designer to ensure strong design execution in a fast-paced environment. They lead weekly job site meetings and work alongside architects, builders, and clients to collaboratively create a beautiful home!

Responsibilities Duties

  • Design and project manage 5-8 projects at a time
  • Develop each assigned client’s project design vision
  • Use creative forward-thinking and drive the design team to new concepts and styles
  • Develop design boards, inspiration books, specification books, and furniture decks
  • Conduct finish and furniture presentations to clients alongside Creative Director
  • Make or approve all finish and furniture selections for projects
  • Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and architectural detailing for Specification Book alongside the team
  • Delegate assignments to their design assistant and review their work
  • Lead and manage each project installation
  • Manage client experience from onboarding through installation completion
  • Engage with clients throughout the entire project about all design-related items
  • Oversee the build of projects as the project manager, communicating with the build team and ensuring strong design execution
  • Lead job site meetings with the client and the build team

Qualifications

  • Must have a degree in interior design.
  • Have at least 4 years of design experience at a residential interior design firm
  • Incredible work ethic and follow-through.
  • Have a very strong understanding of the design and construction process.
  • Display creativity in both finishes and furniture, with the ability to translate the LG style into different style homes.
  • A large knowledge base of trade sources.
  • Expert in AutoCAD, InDesign, Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Revit a strong plus.
  • Exude strong leadership qualities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • An ability to multi-task as well as confidently delegate projects and tasks.
  • Extreme attention to detail with strong organization skills.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable spirit to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding creative environment.
  • Adaptable to new ideas, new employees, and systems that will aid and grow the firm.
  • Friendly, professional and connective personality to build industry relationships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
