WE ARE GROWING AND NEED ADDITIONAL HELP ON OUR PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TEAM. Regal Property Management seeks a full-time Multi-site Maintenance Technician to respond to work orders at our properties located around Eau Claire, Altoona, Chippewa Falls and Menomonie. The Multi-site Maintenance Technician will prepare units for new move-ins and perform preventive maintenance on-site. Company vehicle will be provided.

Requirements – Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Mechanical skills: The maintenance technician is required to have mechanical skills to handle minor repairs and fixtures

Knowledge of electricity: Knowing how electricity works will help the technician to diagnose electrical problems and carry out minor repairs

General maintenance skills: With good maintenance skills, the technician will know how things work and how to keep the place organized, as well as how to tackle maintenance tasks in a fast and easy manner

Verbal and written communication skills: The property maintenance technician needs to have strong communications skills for effective delivery of information to clients, colleagues, and management

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Schedules, monitors, and performs preventative maintenance and rental turns

- Diagnosis problems and repairs in the area of carpentry, drywalling and exterior structural

- Ensures that work order requests are responded to promptly and professionally

- Ensures rentals have been turned in a timely and efficient manner, as well as determine if work has been completed properly

- Provides excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants and promotes a quality living experience for all residents

- Inspects rental and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, and alerts Maintenance to items that need to be repaired

- Assists supervisor with scheduling and communication with vendors and contractors

- Assists with purchasing maintenance supplies for the property while staying within the planned budget

- Communicates with supervisor regarding the overall maintenance function of the rental properties

- Ice/snow removal when needed

Qualified candidates:

• Must have mechanical and plumbing aptitude
• Must be able to be trained on basic maintenance skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurance requirements
• Must be able to work a rotating on-call schedule
• Have the ability to work independently
• Have the ability to stand, lift and bend for up to 8 hours (with breaks) in hot/cold and wet environments
• Have the ability to work in a team environment
