Shift/Pay Rate: Monday – Thursday (6am to 4:30pm): $19 - $24/hour

About the Company: Our company is in design, manufacture, and assembly of electrical controls, electrical enclosures, irrigation pumps and controls, municipal and commercial pump stations, water purification systems, and design-to-order metal fabrications. We serve a variety of industries with standard and custom products including water pumping, oil production-drill and refining controls, wastewater treatment, conveying, baggage conveying, handling, and more!

As a Control Panel Wiring Tech, you'll use blueprints/schematics to install wires inside metal control panels of various sizes and designs accurately and within a specified time frame to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly, wiring, and testing of various LV control panels based on wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and specifications
• Fabricate UL-508A Industrial Control Panels
• Understand electrical circuits to include PLC’s, Ethernet networking, instrumentation, and controls
• Route and bundle wires and cables neatly to meet wiring standards
• Utilize engineering documentation (bill of materials, panel layouts) and electrical schematics to ensure compliant and fully functioning panel/control
• Read basic wiring diagram and install low voltage wiring in control panel based on diagram
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes
• Communicate any documentation inaccuracies to the Project Manager and/or Shop Supervisor
• Involves wiring, crimping, and working with wire harnesses
• Maintain red-line mark-ups of changes made during fabrication
• Undertake other reasonable tasks as may be required from time to time
• Prepare completed control panels for shipment
• Communicate effectively with all team members

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of electrical control panel wiring experience
• Read and interpret shop drawings, electrical schematics, and/or engineering drawings
• Work without supervision

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
