Hours: Mon - Thurs 6am to 4:30pm

Pay Rate: $19 to $24 (depending on experience)

Job Description:

As a Control Panel Wiring Tech, you'll use blueprints/schematics to install wires inside metal control panels of various sizes and designs accurately and within a specified time frame to meet customer requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to read electrical schematics.
• Must have 3 years of electrical control panel wiring experience.
• Must be able to work without supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly, wiring and testing of various LV control panels based on wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and specifications.
• Fabrication of UL-508A Industrial Control Panels
• Understanding of electrical circuits to include PLC’s, Ethernet networking, instrumentation, and controls.
• Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.
• Utilize engineering documentation (bill of materials, panel layouts) and electrical schematics to ensure compliant and fully functioning panel/control.
• Read basic wiring diagram and install low voltage wiring in control panel based on diagram.
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
• Communicate any documentation inaccuracies to the Project Manager and/or Shop Supervisor.
• Able to read and interpret shop drawings, electrical schematics and/or engineering drawings.
• Involves wiring, crimping, and working with wire harnesses.
• Maintain red-line mark-ups of changes made during fabrication.
• Undertake other reasonable tasks as may be required from time to time.
• Prepare completed control panels for shipment.
• Communicate effectively with all team members.
