Patient Care Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Patient Care Coordinator(Full-time) for our Lancaster, PA location. This is an in-person position.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will provide front desk support to our clinical team/psychiatrists to allow them to devote their time to care for our patients. In this role, a successful candidate will manage schedules to ensure adequate access to our patients, manage front desk activities including checking in patients, collecting co-pays and deductibles and outstanding patient balances, scheduling follow-up psychiatry appointments, answering phones, responding to voice mail messages, returning patient calls, completing end of day assignments in Athena and other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday - Friday,8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• College preferred but not required
• Minimum two years in a medical setting

Beneficial Skills & Experience:

• Front desk work - Check in and Check out
• Heavy phone work – Receptionist/call center environment
• Insurance verification – explaining to clients what benefits they have and using various platforms to confirm information electronically
• Experience with EMR, portals, and medical records
• Great Communication– Team environment
• Ability to work independently
• Assisting with Admin support of a Physician/Prescriber
• In-person work schedule
