Reframe Solutions is Hiring a Project Manager Near Windsor, CT

The primary purpose of the Project Manager role is to lead the successful delivery of software development releases including, but not limited to, major projects, medium-sized system enhancements, and regular support patches/fixes. The Project Manager must accomplish this with well-coordinated stakeholder management, and within scope, to a high degree of quality, and within time and cost constraints.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project proposals to assess project timeline, budget, and necessary activities to achieve desired results.
  • Identify and schedule deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timelines are met.
  • Establish work and staffing plans for project activities, iterations, or phases, and arrange for project assignment.
  • Design and implement project communication plans.
  • Perform risk assessment and implement mitigation plans.
  • Create project documentation using input from cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Project Charters, detailed functional requirements, and project plans.
  • Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of information while providing consistency in content and form across the organization.
  • Ensure that project goals are aligned with business objectives.
  • Control scope to limit scope creep and drive change control through proper channels if scope adjustments are necessary.
  • Ensure that project goals are achieved.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
  • Ensure project quality by overseeing project QA planning and execution.
  • Ensure project delivery by overseeing project UAT planning and execution.
  • Create weekly status reports modify schedules or plans as required.
  • Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
  • Coordinate and work with the following primary stakeholders:
    • Project team/staff (including designated users or customers)
    • Subject matter experts
    • Business analysts
    • Quality Assurance (QA) testers
    • IT Architects, Developers


Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading projects.
  • Experience in leading teams.
  • Strong “soft skills” or “people skills.”
  • Ability to lead and motivate others, empathize, and know personality types.
  • Familiarity with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
  • Board management experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.
  • Knowledge of project-planning tools such as MS Project.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
  • Well-developed time management skills with a strong ability to multitask.
  • Distinctive blend of business, IT, financial, and communication skills. This blend is vital because this is a highly visible position with substantial impact.
  • Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources.
  • The ability to ask questions and determine downstream implications of project decisions.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
  • Good understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises use them to drive digital business.
  • Ability to develop and execute a project resource plan that ensures that the right people are in the right place doing the right things at the right time.
  • Understands the business benefits of a project and connects project objectives to broader organizational goals.
  • Incorporates end-user feedback appropriately to refine scope and address shortcomings throughout the life cycle.
  • Takes responsibility for project success and project problems.
  • Determines the effect of organizational changes on project teams, anticipating associated challenges and creating workable solutions for them.
