QA Manager

We are looking for a manager and leader who is organized, solution-oriented, and an excellent communicator. Join us in exceeding client expectations as we deliver digital solutions with some of the most innovative and forward-looking nonprofit, advocacy, corporate, and transit organizations in the US and around the world.

About the position

The ideal candidate is passionate about how technology and innovative thinking can create positive change for private and public institutions across a variety of industries. They will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a QA Manager or similar role at an agency, consulting firm, or technology firm.

You will become a key member of the team, enabling us to take the next step in growth and take on more ambitious and challenging projects. This will be a highly collaborative role, where you will work closely with members of our leadership, account management, UX/UI design, development, and business development departments.

Reflexions is a digital design and development firm founded in 1999. Our fully remote 30 person team specializes in designing, architecting and developing modern, impactful digital experiences tailored to the unique needs of our clients. We work with a wide array of non-profit, corporate, and institutional clients including the MTA, WMATA, The Shade Store, James Beard Foundation, Housing Works, and Governors Island, among many others.

What you'll do:

  • Management and leadership of our QA team resources and their assignments. And keeping that aligned with client needs and evolving priorities
  • Ongoing day-to-day QA testing responsibilities for our projects
  • Provide performance feedback and coaching on a regular basis to each team member
  • Fostering professional development, team-building, and training
  • Improvement of our QA process including additional use of automation tools
  • Oversight, management, and configuration of TestRail and other QA tools as needed
  • Collaborate closely with leadership, development, PM, design, and customer-facing team members
  • Communicate, support, and empower the team to do their best every single day.
  • Cultivate excellent relationships with clients, key stakeholders and manage their expectations effectively.
  • Contribute to department and company initiatives.

What we're looking for:

  • Recent experience managing overall QA delivery for web projects and initiatives; willingness to support end-to-end testing as required; careful consideration to helping our team ensure that quality, time to market, and cost objectives are consistently achieved.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once, often at different stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Willingness to work in a closely-knit team environment and demonstrate a passion for solving business problems with creative and technology-based solutions.
  • A track record of meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations.
  • Experience using collaborative team communication and project management applications like Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and Zoom.
  • Fluency with usability research, user testing, and WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Experience working on projects related to public transit and government clients would be a plus.
  • Working hours during USA Eastern Time (9:00am - 6:00PM ET).
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
