Controls Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team and lead engineering design and support activities for various Controls Systems. In this role, you will manage multiple projects, ensuring they stay within budget and schedule, while supporting existing controls systems to ensure safe and reliable pipeline operations.
Key responsibilities include overseeing control system integrators, reviewing design deliverables, defining test plans, and collaborating with stakeholders to document user requirements. Additionally, you will mentor less experienced engineers, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure proper documentation and adherence to standards for HMI and PLC designs.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor s degree in a related engineering field and 10 years of Industrial Automation/Controls engineering experience, including expertise with Allen-Bradley PLC platforms, GE Fanuc Proficy iFix HMI, and various communication protocols.
A valid Driver s License and the ability to travel up to 50% are required.
Preferred qualifications include a Master s degree, Professional Engineering License/Certification, and experience in the Pipeline/Oil/Gas industry
