Design, test, and commission custom switchgear and generator control systems
Execute and support the design, test, manufacture, and commissioning of low and medium voltage switchgear that controls multiple generators which parallel to one or more utility sources
Provide direction to CAD designers to create wiring and assembly drawings for generator paralleling switchgear controls
Create bill of materials for generator paralleling switchgear controls in ERP system
Create PLC programs for control of generator paralleling switchgear
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering preferred
5 years experience required. or 3 yrs with MS
Technical Skills
Ability to create PLC programs with PLC Programming languages i.e. Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text
Design, test, and commission control systems. i.e. systems with different PLC controllers in the same system, experience interfacing, designing controls with different manufacturers

Understand ANSI requirements and their applications in switchgear controls
Understand protective relays, their functions associated with Generator, and Utility protection applications
