About the Role: 

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and task-driven Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team! Reporting to our Accounting Manager, this is an opportunity to join a fast growing startup and play a driving role in our accounting and financial operations. This individual will be a key contributor as we grow our Finance team and our company.

Our ideal candidate will have the ability and desire to wear many hats, be comfortable with making contributions that are transactional in nature, and be comfortable interacting across all levels and functions of the organization. This is an opportunity to leverage current skill-sets while also focusing on learning quickly and adding value to the current processes.

You Will: 

• Own transactional accounting for areas such as bank and credit card transactions, AP, payroll, billing and expense reporting
• Perform monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and flux analysis
• Help identify, drive, and implement process improvements while documenting new and existing processes
• Support processing and review of customer contracts, billing and revenue schedules to ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with US GAAP
• Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders to align on downstream impacts, controls, and reporting needs for accounting close 
• Perform special, ad-hoc projects in Accounting/Finance as requested

You Have: 

• 3 years of US GAAP accounting experience 
• Exceptional analytical and Excel skills, comfortable working with large data sets
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and organizations
• Proactive, self motivated with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

Please highlight if applicable to you: 

• 2 years of experience working in public accounting
• 1 years of experience working in a high-growth SaaS company
• Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce, Bill.com, and Navan or similar accounting softwares
• A CPA (or are currently a CPA candidate)

U.S. base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000 (CO, TX) and $103,000 - $121,000 (CA, NY, WA). Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. As a remote-first company, we strive to consider each candidate's job-related skills, location, experience, relevant education or training to determine individual base salary.
