Job Description:
As an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative specializing in wholesale flooring, you will be an integral part of our sales team, driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing inbound inquiries from trade professionals, providing product expertise, and facilitating sales transactions. Additionally, you will deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients in the trade industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound calls, emails, and inquiries from trade professionals, including contractors, builders, and designers.
  • Provide product recommendations, technical assistance, and pricing information to meet customer needs.
  • Process estimates, sales orders and purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Collaborate with the outside sales team to support customer acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Proactively follow up on leads, quotes, and opportunities to maximize sales potential.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and industry trends
  • Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage leads, and generate reports.

Facility Maintenance:

  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen, including counters, floors, appliances
  • Sweep and mop floors in the showroom, office areas, kitchen and bathrooms.
  • Dust surfaces, including shelves, desks, and equipment, to maintain cleanliness.
  • Organize inventory and storage areas to ensure efficient use of space.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and submit orders as necessary.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
