Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently deliver packages, documents, and other items to designated locations
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time
• Handle packages with care to ensure they are delivered intact and undamaged
• Collect signatures and payments from customers as required
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
• Assist with loading and unloading packages as needed

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver preferred
• Excellent navigational skills and knowledge of local roads and routes
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to [insert weight] pounds
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Professional and courteous demeanor with excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
