The family owning this location has over six decades of experience in the retail shoe business with operations in Arkansas, Texas, Jackson, and Mississippi. Job Description

• Promote and support the high quality Red Wing brand image through professional selling.
• Enter customer information and sales, process payments, balance cash drawer and daily reporting
• Measure and fit every customer properly as part of our "Ultimate Fit Experience"

• Practice industrial sales lead development on the fitting stool
• Very employee friendly store hours & pace. We are open 9-6 Mon-Fri, 10-5 Sat, Closed Sundays and Holidays and have a relatively slower paced work day when compared to many retail environments.
• We are looking to fill 15-20 hour per week positions. Consideration will be given to candidates with strong qualifications that have a need for full time employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and 0-2 years related experience/training.
• Team and collaboration orientation
• Results oriented
• Effective Written/Verbal Communication
• Computer Utilization
• Retail footwear and/or wholesale experience
• Desire for long term employment (with a past employment history that supports that)

Physical Demands

• Lifting 50 pounds, bending, lacing shoes, and climbing a ladder.
• Housekeeping duties including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping floors, washing windows and setting up and maintaining displays

Compensation

• $14-$15 Hourly base rate (higher based on qualifications)
• Monthly Sales Commissions will boost base rate

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
