Environmental Coordinator
Job description
RED Technologies, LLC is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to assist in the Environmental Remediation Division. Assist the Project Manager and site field staff on remediation projects in a team setting and can work individually on projects. Oversee operations on-site and act as a liaison between the Project Manager and Site Foreman. Provide excellent time management while working on projects. Ability to work well with others, possess strong organizational and communication skills and able to work in fast paced environments.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
1. Complete environmental reports, groundwater sampling and soil sampling.
2. Oversee excavations, underground storage tank pulls, and environmental remediation site work.
3. Assist in project coordination, management of field activities, and general project support functions for projects involving Phase I due diligence.
4. Phase II Subsurface investigation, environmental construction, transportation and disposal, compliance and hazardous material characterization.
5. Assist in creating job estimates, preparing proposals, and all related project documents.
6. Assist with client invoicing, change orders, and project submittals.
7. Travel weekly to job sites and provide great communication to maintain positive working relationships between RED Technologies, LLC, clients, other field staff, subcontractors, etc.
8. Other duties may be assigned. Opportunity to work within other divisions.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint). All other programs can be taught in the position.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university preferably within the Environmental field; zero to five years related experience and/or training within the environmental field or similar role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
· Valid Driver’s License
· CPR first aid*
· 40-hour OSHA training and/or current 8-hour HAZWOPER Refresher training*
· 10-hour OSHA training*
*Not required but preferred
Equipment:
· PID and LEL
· Low flow groundwater sampling equipment
