Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. If you have a passion for mixology, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their drink orders promptly and accurately
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using the cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for customers seated at the bar
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales revenue
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after each shift
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of various drink recipes, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized recommendations based on customer preferences
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and operating a cash register
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices in the food industry
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
