Guest Services Lead:
Position Overview:
The guest services lead is responsible for overseeing the guest services team at the Red River Zoo, ensuring that all visitors have a positive and memorable experience. This includes overseeing the admission, carousel, and concession areas of the Zoo. The guest services lead will also be responsible for supervising and training the guest services staff and addressing any customers concerns. This is a seasonal position that runs through October 2024.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for conducting daily opening and closing duties in the Guest Services department.
2. Conduct weekly inventory, place orders as needed, and ensure product is replenished in a timely manner.
3. Inventory and resupply first aid kits in Guest Services Areas.
4. Supervise and train seasonal Guest Services Staff to ensure they are providing excellent customer service.
5. Ensure that all guest services areas are clean, organize and fully stocked.
6. Help maintain a clean and safe work environment for staff and guests.
7. Receive and display gift shop merchandise.
Reports to: Guest Services Manager/Assistant Guest Services Manager
Work Hours: Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed. Ideally available for 4 10 hour shifts per week.

· Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail, safety awareness, common sense, and sound judgment.
· Must be available to work evenings, weekends and possible holidays as needed.
· Professionalism and positive attitude at all times.
· Disseminates information to team members in a timely and positive manner.
· Demonstrates dedication to creating a positive guest experience for all zoo visitors.
