JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Snack Bar Attendant

Reports to:

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary: The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for positive guest interactions while taking food orders, serving, and handling transactions in a friendly and efficient manner.

Essential Duties:

• Communicates with guests to take food and drink orders.
• Prepares customer food and drink orders.
• Provides outstanding customer service.
• Assists in merchandising functions including inventory receiving, stocking, and merchandise pricing.
• Preforms cash handling functions, including point-of-sale (POS) system, registers and daily reporting.
• Ensures F&B outlet adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.
• Ensures the daily operation of F&B adheres to operating procedure guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Some High School education or equivalent.
• Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands.
• Experience utilizing basic math skills and ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Proven customer service skills and communication skills; able to read and interpret English language manuals relating to safety, operations, and procedures.
• Successful completion of criminal background and drug screen.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Previous experience demonstrating strong customer service.
• Prior experience utilizing restaurant equipment and sanitation standards preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal direction.
• Previous experience with cash transactions and Point-of-Sale preferred.
• Proven Teamwork skills.

• Ability to bend, stoop, sit on the floor, climb stairs/ladders, work in small spaces, walk and reach overhead.
• Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
• Physical agility to bend, stoop, climb stairs, work in small spaces, walk, reach and lift up to 25 pounds.
