As a Senior Project Manager (SPM), you collaborate with a group of individuals with diverse skills to accomplish a common goal: to create materials and programs that meet—or even exceed—Red Nucleus standards and client expectations. Not only do you strive to meet these expectations, but you manage the day-to-day workflow of your project teams as they develop and deliver materials on time and within budget.
You work closely with your Client Service Director (CSD), who has direct management responsibility for the larger team, to coordinate the workload and priorities for roles such as Associate Project Managers (APM), Medical Writers (MW), Instructional Designers (ID), Artists, Developers, Medical Editors (ME) and Editorial Associates (EA). You also work closely with Account Managers (AM) on business development efforts for the accounts you service and have regular contact with clients by phone and email and at virtual and/or live meetings.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities as a SPM are divided into 6 core areas: Business Development, Timeline Development and Management, Client Interaction, Team Management, Tactical Development, and Financial Management. You have the ability to successfully manage projects of larger scope, greater complexity, risk, and/or higher visibility. Not only will these projects help you grow your skills in tactical development and financial management, they will also allow you to deepen and broaden your skills related to business development, client interaction, and support for team members.
