Red Lily Senior Home is Hiring a Nursing Assistant Need for Dallas Near Dallas, TX

About the job 

As a growing nursing facility in Dallas, we are looking for more Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join us in our mission in providing patient-centered care and support to our senior residents in the area. As an aspiring CNA, you will have the opportunity to learn and get certified with us, and our commitment is to equip you with the right skills and knowledge so you can begin your career in nursing.

Once you become certified, your roles as a CNA will include any of the following:

  • Assist our patients as they try to accomplish activities of daily living including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, maintaining oral hygiene 
  • Assist with rehabilitative measures including routine daily exercises as prescribed by the therapist
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, temperature, blood pressure, intake/outtake, including medication intake
  • Accomplish notes and documentations accurately
  • Assist RN/LPN with medical procedures as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other health professionals
  • Report any significant changes in patient’s health, condition, and behavior to licensed nurse or nurse supervisor
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times

We require the following for our aspiring CNAs:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 18 years old and above
  • Proof of vaccination against COVID
  • Proof of TB test
  • Ability to undergo and pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • BLS/First Aid Certification encouraged
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Works well under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to train!
