About the Role

We are a growing nursing facility that is looking to add more Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join us in our mission in providing patient-centered care and support to our senior residents. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the ideal CNA candidate will work directly with our residents and their families in ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities 

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the residents
• Report changes and record pertinent information and care provided to residents
• Connect deeply and professionally with the residents
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
• Measure and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure
• Assist with the admission, discharge, and transfer of residents according to company policies and procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is encouraged
• Communication skills – both verbal and written
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Completed and clean background check and drug test
• Ability to maintain patience and respect while performing a variety of tasks
