Company informationA multi-disciplinary community development firm offering a broad range of planning, engineering, building and other professional services.
HQ: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Employees: 170 (1600 in wider group)
Full time, permanent, direct hire.
Candidates based in, or willing to relocate to Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach areas preferred, however 100% remote will be considered.
Salary: $90k - $120k depending on experience.
TRAFFIC ENGINEER/TRANSPORTATION PLANNER x 2
Role Responsibilities
  • Providing Traffic Engineering and/or Planning services to multiple clients.
  • Develop and execute Traffic Engineering projects, including traffic operations. and safety studies, traffic engineering analyses, signal design, transportation forecasting and technical memos.
  • Develop and present reports and recommendations.
  • Complete Streets and Multimodal planning and/or design.
  • Overseeing engineering and technical staff.
  • Collaborative working across disciplines.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
Experience
  • 5-10 years in a Civil Engineering role
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE (or ability to gain one within 1 year), Florida preferred.
Vision
  • For qualified and ambitious candidates, there is the vision for the role to expand to Project Manager and Office Manager / Director.
