Company information:
A multi-disciplinary community development firm offering a broad range of planning, engineering, building and other professional services.
HQ: Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Employees: 170 (1600 in wider group).
Full time, permanent, direct hire.
Location: Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach (Hybrid working arrangements).
Salary: Competitive salary and benefits.
SURVEY AND MAPPING LEAD
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of field and office technicians.
- Prepare proposals and scopes of work.
- Lead a wide range of surveys (including boundary, right of way, highway/route design, topographical, construction and pipeline), construction layouts, subdivision plats, and post survey field data analysis.
- Liaise with firm's clients on all survey matters.
Skills required:
- Experienced across range of survey types required by municipal engineering and construction clients.
- Experienced in the use of state of the art and traditional survey equipment and tools, including GPS, Robotic Total Station and surveying data collectors.
- Ability to stay abreast of new survey technology as it emerges.
- Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Geopak and/or ArcGIS.
- Excellent client and team relationship skills.
- Team management and mentoring.
Education/Certification and Experience:
- Must be a Registered Professional Surveyor Mapper or Professional Land Surveyor.
- 10 years of experience.
- Full driver's license.
