Job description
Primary Responsibilities Include:
· Perform quality inspections including but not limited to:
o Brix, Ph, Acidity testing
o ATP testing and sensory testing
· Perform activities related to inspection and release of raw materials in process and finished goods.
· Report results to Quality Assurance Supervisor
· Provide information necessary to assure that product has been manufactured in accordance with established quality standards.
· Maintain accurate and organized records of Quality Assurance Activities including daily and monthly quality checks.
· Ensure company records meet or exceed company GMP food safety standards, as well as HACCP requirements.
· Follow Good Manufacturing Practices/Food Safety Policies for food industry.
· Comply with all standard safety practices, rules and Company rules and policies.
· Prioritize workload in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
· May perform other duties as assigned.
Employment Specification/Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Work in a safe manner always.
· Food Safety knowledge preferred.
· Experience with FDA, USDA, GAP, HACCP, and other national quality system rules.
· Ability to utilize lab equipment for testing, including calibrations.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.
· Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
· Strong communication skills and work ethic.
· Reliable attendance and consistent quality of work.
