DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists guests promptly and courteously with valet and transportation services.
• Drives conservatively, announcing stops and answering general questions about the property and the local community.
• Maintains a working knowledge of the property’s facilities, as well as special events on property, in order to advise guests and fellow team members of same.
• Inspects vehicles prior to occupancy, verifying that everything is clean, well-stocked and in good working order.
• Conducts routine safety inspections of vehicles before and after every trip, reporting any problems or maintenance needs to management.
• Effectively communicates with the Transportation Supervisors/lead to report any mechanical difficulties and/or maintenance needs of property-owned vehicles.
• Presents a clean, neat and well-groomed appearance.
• Ensures a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
• Maintains written records of all trips, number of passengers, departure and arrival times, dispatcher’s name and destinations.
• Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
• Provide outstanding guest service to valued guests.
• Assist guests and other team members in offering valued guest outstanding service. This includes, but not limited to:
o Greeting vehicles and guests that arrive in the Valet area.
o Opening doors for guests.
o Filling out valet tickets when needed.
o Perform duties at all times while on shift whether in the Porte, office, etc.
o Greet guests with a proper greeting and smile applying A.C.T. attributes.
o Follow assignments made by the supervisor and/or lead.
o Provide positive interaction with guests and team members.
o Maintaining confidential information of guest interaction and property operations at all time.
• Ability to deal with intoxicated guests
• Driving in adverse weather: Rain, Snow, Ice, Extreme Heat
• Traveling Long Distances
• Acts as an Ambassador for RHC
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Must possess a minimum of two years of commercial driving and guest services experience.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Must possess a valid commercial Class B driver’s license from the State, Passenger Endorsement up to 40 passengers, and a good driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
