The focus for Red Hat's High School Internship Program is a dual partnership between the emerging talent team, and our intern managers. We can offer you professional development, social engagement and networking, performance and development, and meaningful work throughout this 4 week internship.
What you will do:In this role, you will be assisting with day-to-day activities to support some of our key business functions here at Red Hat, encompassing areas as diverse as financial analysis, accounting, risk management, process management, program management, procurement etc. You'll need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively, and be a quick learner.
Eligibility
At least 16 years of age
Rising Juniors or Seniors with cumulative 2.0 gpa or higher
Available to complete the entire internship July 8-August 2 (4 weeks)
Ability to arrange own transportation to and from Red Hat office
Ability to complete 120 hours in Raleigh or Boston
Motivated with good creative problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration
Positive attitude
Willingness to learn about Red Hats business, culture and strategy and apply those concepts to enable our most valuable asset, our people
Use your critical thinking skills to tackle tough problems in an innovative way
Bring innovative ideas and enthusiasm to the team to complete final reflection
