Job Summary:

The Warehouse Picker is responsible for picking garments against pick slips and having the items ready for packing accordingly.

Responsibilities:

• Receive assigned batch of pick tickets
• Follow instructions on handheld scanner
• Locate and pull garments
• Sort and organize picked orders to help ease the packing process
• Keep records of completed orders

Desired Background:

• Minimum High School diploma (or equivalent)
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Experience in fashion industry a plus

Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience in the garment industry
• Warehouse work experience preferred

Skills:

• Experience in picking systems or RF devices
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be self-motivated
• Diligent and punctual
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
• Must be flexible (hours outside of normal working hours) and able to act independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

 Physical Functions:

• Must be able to push and pull rolling racks with weights up to 200 pounds
• Requires ability to lift up to 40 poundsat a time
• Frequent bending, pushing, pulling and lifting, twisting and reaching
• Ability to hold and grip garments
• Ascending/descending from a rolling ladder to hang/remove garments
• Must be able to stand and walk about the warehouse throughout scheduled shifts; up to 8 hours
• Scanning of up to 250-300 pieces using hand held scanner
• Required language is English
• Candidate must be able to communicate both verbal and written in English

Base Hourly Pay Range:

The base hourly pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and location.
