About the Role
We are looking for a product manager to help drive new product initiatives for our news consumers. You will propose and drive key big bets for the company. You will work closely with the founders of the company to launch new projects. This is a unique opportunity to innovate in the news and streaming space across a wide variety of functional areas and help empower millions of users to watch the news they care about.
Responsibilities would include:Prioritize new products and features that will lead to increased engagement and drive retention.
Drive projects from ideation through launch and iteration.
Be an expert in the competitive landscape of consumer digital news and adjacent markets; keep apprised of the latest market trends and innovations
Work with product design to create wireframes and eventually pixel perfect mockups for each feature
Write clear and detailed product specs for new features, and address feedback from other stakeholders
Research new feature proposals and initiatives including best practices across competitors and in the industry
4 years of experience as Product Manager on consumer facing weather products
Have successfully launched weather products on mobile and web by working with design, marketing and engineering teams
Have strong consumer product instincts (predict and justify why certain product features will work or not work)
Experience analyzing data to drive product decisions
Able to justify and clearly articulate plans, roadmaps, ideas, and designs verbally and through presentations
Experience driving user research and usability tests
Active and successful use of A/B testing
